摘要

Three-dimensional stress analysis of spot welded joint by using the Element Free Galerkin Method (EFGM) is presented. Spot welded joint is considered that circular crack exist in analytical domain. To decide the domain of influence to evaluation point needs to take the crack into consideration. We adopted how to analyze it as follow. First, two plates jointed by spot welding is separated on the inner surface. The EFOM is applied to each plate. The inner surface at spot weld of each separated plate is considered interface, and the displacements on those interface is made to be continued each other. The method is able to apply the analysis of spot welded dissimilar joint.
