In contribution the pre- and post-processing parts of GWS (Groundwater System) software package is described. The system was developed in company DIAMO with co-operation of TU Liberec for purposes of groundwater flow and transport simulations. The system consists of following set of programs: GTIS, GwsSIT, GwOkp, GesPoc, GwsView2D and GwsView3D. The programs prepare input data for numerical 3D models of grondwater flow and transport based on FEM. They also serve for visualization of numerical results in the form of spreadsheets, graphs, 3D views on body of underground contamination and 2D vertical and horizontal cross-sections in time sequences.
