摘要

Some Jackson-type inequalities with sharp constants for moduli of contunuity of derivatives are established. These inequalities contain not only the smallest possible constants but also the smallest possible (with preserving the best constant) step of modulus of continuity. So norm of a periodical function with zero mean value, error of interpolation by piecewise linear functions, error of rectangular quadrature formula and the second modulus of continuity are estimated with sharp constant and step.
