摘要

Enhancement of heat transfer and reaction rate of composite particles of calcium chloride and expanded graphite has been investigated experimentally. The overall reaction rate of composite particles increased by about three times that of untreated calcium chloride. From analyses based on the modified Shrinking Core Model it has been confirmed that the increase in the overall reaction rate is due to the high permeability and the high thermal conductivity of composite particles.
