In the manufacturing process of polymer membrane products, the surface properties greatly affect the quality. Particularly in the drying process, temperature dependence of surface properties is one of the important factors. We have studied and developed the measurement technique which enables observing micro or nano scale surface phenomena using ripplon. We have measured surface viscoelasticity of the polymer solutions which are the solutions with cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB) in methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) in the polymer concentration range from 1 to 3wt%, and in the temperature range from 10 to 40°C.
