A numerical simulation based on the finite difference method is made on a three-dimensional separated flow around a pair of rectangular blocks mounted in a channel with two parallel walls, and the heat transfer characteristics therein are also analyzed. Reynolds number treated is 100~500 and Prandtl number 0.7, block space 0.2h~ 2.0h, respectively. As the block space becomes narrow, two horseshoe vortices around each rectangular block merge into a large one and it surrounds both of the blocks. In the case of d/h ≥ 0.5, mean Nusselt number of the block is slightly lower than that of single one.
