An analytical study is presented to show the thermal structure of frozen/melting behavior of the horizontal layer, the surface temperature of which is subjected to the dual cyclic changes with two different periods. The numerical results are compared with the simple cyclic change of surface temperature and discussed on the temperature profiles in detail and revealed to be consisted of dual stokes depths and, in consequence, the net heat flux at the surface are illustrated to be affected by frozen/melting behavior.
