This paper presents a general fading distribution the k-μDistribution - that includes the Rice and the Nakagamim distributions as special cases. Therefore the One-Sided Gaussian and the Rayleigh distributions also constitute special cases and the Lognormal distribution may be well-approximated by the k-μDistribution. Preliminary results show that the k-μDistribution provides a very good fitting to experimental data.
