摘要

PCDD/F-TEQ intake for the Venetian population is similar to recent surveys throughout Europe. Inclusion of PCB-TEQ for aquatic biota collected from around the Lagoon increases TEQ intake significantly by up to ~100%. Local fisherman and their families who consume a high amount of Lagoon fish/shellfish will be exposed to elevated TEQ intake predominantly associated with PCB concentrations. 'High-consumers' of local fish/shellfish are identified as a group potentially likely to exceed the current WHO TDI.
