Medical education has radically changed in Pediatrics, regarding the implementation of new treatment techniques and devices, which are noninvasive and painless. Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) represents a new option, very effective in many children's disorders, with a quicker response to treatment, more positive and side effects free. It must be applied properly and with greater care, because the health problems of children differ from those of adults, and the child's response to illness and stress varies with age. Our experience in applying LLLT in Pediatrics will be shared. The aim is to help promote more appropriate use of this new modality, and to highlight how it differs from other medical specialties. The present paper is based on seven key words: Children, Light Therapy, Mechanisms, Effects, Indications, Equipment & Personnel, and Safety.
