Soil ~(222)Rn flux and outdoor ~(222)Rn concentrations were continuously measured at 20 sites in China, Japan and Korea. Annual averaged ~(222)Rn flux and outdoor ~(222)Rn concentrations ranged from 6.9 to 59.6 mBq m~2 s~(-1) and 5.3 to 17.0 Bq m~3 among those sites. Seasonal variations of both ~(222)Rn flux and outdoor ~(222)Rn were observed at most of the sites. A significant positive correlation exists between the soil ~(222)Rn flux and outdoor ~(222)Rn concentrations.
