摘要

Fine particle peening (FPP) is a potential surface treatment to improve tribological properties of surface. With a focus on the transfer phenomena induced by FPP, FPP using specially developed carbon-black/steel hybridized particle has been proposed to reduce friction [1]. In the present study, the authors have developed new double peening process which consists of two steps of FPP using two types of hybridized particles for each step; carbon-black/steel (CBS) particle and diamond/steel (DS) one. Each particle is expected to provide lubricative effect and wear-resistance.
