MR JEAN-ALAIN TAUPY (Total S.A, France) understood that Thailand was becoming "a kind of Brazil for Asia". Did the government intend to create mandates and develop the ethanol business? MR ISSARA TWILTERMSUP replied that Thailand was not Brazil. In Brazil, the domestic market was huge and, even if Thailand were to have more aggressive mandates, it would not amount to very much, because Thailand was such a small country.
