摘要

The objective of this project is to generate executable program code for model-based computational engineering applications automatically. The models are centralised and derived from a shared ontology that captures the behaviour of a class of systems, specifically for controlled multi-scale physical-chemical-biological processes. The model knowledge captured by the ontology is synthesised and aggregated to generate building blocks for an interactive graph editor that constructs a directed graph representing the topology of the model. Structured knowledge from the ontology together with the topology is the basis for generating executable code for a targeted language.
