The control of clinical problems due to infection with Actinobacilluspleuropneumoniae in swine herd is often through good management practices, though occasionally there is the need to implement an antibiotic intervention strategy. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of tulathromycin (Draxxin, Pfizer Animal Health) in the field for preventing mortality in swine herds due to infection with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae under field conditions.
