Pressure-induced denaturation and low-temperature denaturation at elevated pressures were studied for some double-domain proteins and the results were compared with the pressure-induced changes of synthetic vinylpolymer systems. The similarity and dissimilarity are discussed with special emphasis on the heat capacity changes accompanying with these changes.
