The estimation of cultivars of common spring wheat to test-pathotypes of leaf rust; identified five resistance genes Lr 1; Lr 10; Lr 14b; Lr 19 and Lr 23. The resistance gene Lr 19 was postulated for the cv. Volgouralskay and Samsar. The same gene; combined with some unidentified resistance genes; were postulated for the cvs. Ecada 6 and Estivum 276. The same gene; combined with two unidentified resistance genes; was postulated for the cv. Ulia. The resistance gene Lr 10 with two unidentifiedresistance genes was discovered in cvs. Malahit and Svetoch. The resistance gene Lr 1 was determined in cvs. Bezenchukskaya 616 and Lutescence 661; but one unidentified resistance gene was present in the first cultivar and two unidentified resistance genes - in the second cultivar. Cvs Pyramid and Tulaikovskaya 1 carry the resistance gene Lr 23. The resistance gene Lr 14b was found in cv. Tulaikovskaya steppe; the same gene combined with LrlO was determined in cv. Zhiguleovskaya.
