Aberrations observed during surgical treatments inspired us to initiate the investigation of variations in the formation of nervus medianus.Group: 100 brachial plexuses in 50 cadavers were examined for the purpose of nervus medianus variations. We were focused also on its paths and anastomoses.Results: In 32 cases (64 %) we observed 40 aberrations. The aberrations were observed more frequently on the left side in 16 cases. The most frequent type was represented by anastomoses.Conclusion: This study enabled to identify and describe anatomical variations in the formation of nervus medianus up to low third part of arm.
