Risk Assessment of Reusing Mine Land after Mine Closure

The influence of mineral resources exploitation on land-use in mine areas won't disappear with mine closure. Fuzzy Mathematics and Analytical Hierarchy Process (for short AHP) are used to assess the risk of reusing mine land after mine closure. Soil, hydrology and geology, waste piles, mined-out areas, and other factors which influence safety of reusing mine land after mine closure are considered as the first-laying influence factors, then mathematics model is established. According to the weights of the influence factors and the subjection degrees of danger's grades, the fuzzy matrix is established. Then the risk degrees of reusing mine land can be calculated. The author took some mine area closed as an example, and appraised the risk. The result is that the risk of the mine area is low. The method can provide some practical direction for reusing mine land after mine closure.
