The layers of CO_2 of the Zone of Pergine Val d'Arno (Arezzo, Italy) are characterized by a substantial and notable lithological homogeneity that, of done, it conditions extremely the exploration of the layers themselves reducing notably the use of common methodologies of geophysical exploration. The geophysical prospecting, operated during various years, it has mainly consisted in the execution of geoelectric profiles and seismic reflection profiles. The electric profiles, which have been acquired with methodology type pole-pole and pole-dipole, have been elaborate with tomographic method. For the individualization of the faults, that constitute the natural streets of gone up of the CO_2, and of the zones characterized by sandstones rocks, that generally result saturated in gas, particularly interesting is been the use of geoelectrical survey. The comparative analysis of the data coming from every single profile, has allowed the elaboration of resistivity papers at various depths and has made possible to characterize the whole area through the parameter of the electric resistivity. The modelling of the layer has allowed the location of various perforations turned to the attainment of the sandstones levels (natural reservoirs for the CO_2), or to the interception of the recent faults (preferential streets for the CO_2).
