Population-based mastitis research is often limited in statistical power and scope by sample collection and processing costs. To optimise research costs, the Canadian Bovine Mastitis Research Network (CBMRN) created a mastitis research resource platform for use by several research endeavours simultaneously. It is multi-institutional and national in scope and supports collection, archiving and distribution of data for applied and fundamental research projects included in the CBMRN research program. CBMRN invites collaboration through the use of data and material offered by this research platform.
