Field measurement of airborne carbonyl compounds was conducted in the air basin during the ozone episode and non-episode days in the cold season since 1999.Fifty-one species of VOCs,including anthorogenic and biogenic sources,were sampled by canister and quantified by GC/MS at four monitoring sites in the air basin.According to the concentration and maximum incremental reactivity coefficients of the individual VOCs,the most important compounds in order of decreasing were:1-butene,m,p-xylene,o-xylene,toluene,isopentane,2-methylpentane,2-methyl-2-butene,benzene,propylene.The contributions of total non-methane hydrocarbon(t-NMHC)by Chemical Mass Balance model(CMB8)simulation are respectively 28-51%,9-24%,14-33%,13-46% and 0.1-2.4% from passenger cars,motorcycles,industrial sources,coatings(solvent)and biogenic contributions among all stations.Trends in source contribution of the major VOC species and in ozone forming potential of VOC mixtures from different sources also be discussed.
