In this work we are concerned with the use of simultaneously acquired signals, in order to establish input/output relationships for linear systems via DFT, AR, and mixed spectrum identification techniques. As noted in [1], the noise spectrum S{sub}(nn)(ω) can contain valuable information which is useful for system identification, coherence analysis, monitoring the overall system integrity, and specifying control actions. A difficulty arises, however, when the noise spectrum (continuous spectrum) is "corrupted" by point spectrum. Hence system identification and coherence analysis in the presence of a harmonic signal are the topics which we would like to address in this work. Specifically, we wilt extend the method presented in [1].
