摘要

Homeopathic medicine is a diagnostic, therapeutic and clinical method based on the "law of the similars" and worked out by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann at the beginning of the XIX century. It has its own and well defined conceptual and philosophical structure essentially based on the "similitude principle" which states a parallel action between the toxicological effect of a substance and its therapeutic action.For 200 years homeopathy has demonstrated its therapeutic value in treating with success different pathologies: from some of the most severe and acute ones such as cholera epidemics at the end of the XIX century up to today's chronic and shifty degenerative and autoimmune diseases.Torino Homeopathic Hospital has been working for 90 years in this city and its activity reports are the evidence of this. In Homeopathic Medicine pain is considered a symptom to be integrated with all other symptoms and signs shown by the patient and if it is well described it can be of real importance in choosing the remedy and for the improvement of the clinical presentation.
