摘要

Space systems are typical large-scale, complex, and high-reliability required systems. Although close coordination and substantial knowledge sharing among the stakeholders are essential to successful development and operation of such systems, current practice does not necessarily live up to such ideal because of cultural and organizational barriers. This study focuses on problems such as difference in design representation, and variation in vocabulary/concepts employed in reliability analysis among contractors, which cause poor understandability of the system, and ineffective reliability assurance process. This study proposes an ontology-based framework and tools for modeling the target system, which allows effective knowledge sharing and coordination in performing reliability related tasks such as FTA, FMEA, and fault diagnosis.
