Developing human resources and securing talented human resources play key roles for the continuous success of challenging missions in space. From these view points, the approach and challenges for the enhancement of human resources in ISAS/JAXA will be reported with touching on several concrete measures such as the use of the scientific ballooning program and the sounding rockets experiments for the development of human resources. It also includes JAXA International Top Young Fellowship Program (ITYF), which has been started since 2009 as one of ways to make ISAS/JAXA more attractive institute internationally so that it gathers talented resources from all over the world.
