摘要

Leakage of CO_2 from a geologic storage reservoir along an idealized fault zone has been simulated, including transitions between supercritical, liquid, and gaseous CO_2. We find strong non-isothermal effects and nonmonotonic leakage behavior, due to an interplay between multiphase flow and heat transfer effects.
