It is valid to evaluate thermal comfort statically in a space where users remain stationary. However, in real situations, thermal comfort is also experienced dynamically as users move through a sequence of diverse spaces. In terms of dynamic thermal comfort, existing research has thus far been insufficient, and few devices have been developed to measure thermal environment dynamically. The purpose of this research is to measure and evaluate dynamic thermal comfort. We have developed wearable sensing devices, which help to estimate the dynamic thermal comfort by measuring user's activity, as well as their mental and physical condition. This paper describes how these devices are developed, and reports on the survey results that they have delivered. With the developed wearable sensing device, we have demonstrated the potential to quantitatively estimate a correlation between thermal comfort and changes in the thermal environment.
