On March 27, 2006 Professor Wolfgang Gerok turned 80. This event calls for a celebration also in this forum because Professor Gerok was involved in the organization of the Falk Liver Weeks from the very beginning, i.e. from the II. Falk Liver Week in 1970 in Freiburg with the Falk Symposium No. 5 on 'Bile Acids' until today.
