The wasted slag was wet-ground in order to study the reaction between CO_2 and the waste electric furnace slag. Only CO_2 absorption occurred in the early stage of grinding. In the latter stage of grinding, CO_2 absorption and H_2 emission occurred simultaneously. In the initial stage, amount of CO_2 absorption for the reduction slag was larger than that for the oxidation slag, while, in the latter stage, the amount of CO_2 absorption for the oxidation slag was larger than that for the reduction slag. In both stages of grinding, the amount of CO_2 increased with an increase in mass of the slag. The grinding cause the reaction of the CO_2 absorption in the initial stage of grinding.
