The Capture probability for radio signals transmitted through Rician fading channels, is analyzed in this paper. We present an equation for the probability density function (pdf) for n interferers, and validate this equation by showing its relation with the pdf for n interferers through Rayleigh fading channels. We then show a closed-form equation for the Capture probability of one test packet and n interferers. An application of the Capture equation to the evaluation of the Throughput in Slotted ALOHA (S-ALOHA) random access is presented next. Numerical results are presented as plots obtained by truncating summations found in the closed-form equations.
