摘要

Most breast cancer-related deaths are due to metastases derived from the primary tumor. In breast cancer the axillary lymph node status is an important prognostic factor [1]. Metastastic potential of tumors is crucially influenced by cytoskeleton remodeling and cell adhesion of (circulating) tumor cells. Ezrin is involved in cell adhesion, motility, morphogenesis, and signaling pathways [2].
