摘要

Anti-inflammatory and neurotrophic factors are secreted at the rostral (R1) segment, whereas pro-inflammatory and necrotic factors are secreted at the caudal (C1) segment. C2 and C3 segments present the same patternas in the R2 and R3 segments. Shotgun MS analyses indicate the presence of anti-inflammatory factors in rostral segments whereas neurite outgrowth factors, inflammatory cytokines and chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan are overexpressed in caudal segments.
