We have developed the high density microduct cable with 6.0 mm diameter which is suitable for blowing installation into the 10/8 mm microduct. This cable has good transmission characteristics under wide temperature range from -45 to 80 degreeC, and excellent blowing installation capability up to 2500 m. Moreover, we are challenging to develop the smaller and lighter cable in order to realize longer blowing installation distance. These newly developing cable can be obtained by reducing the diameter of fiber coating and the totally dry structure.
