Fibroblasts are cells that play an important role in wound healing. They are responsible for excreting extracellular matrix at the site of injury and in their myofibroblast form, cause wound contraction and deposit collagen[1]. Delayed wound healing is commonly observed with aging and a major contributing factor is the dysfunction of the fibroblasts [2]. In this study, we explore the metabolic and protein glycosylation changes in skin fibroblasts with aging.
