摘要

In vivo lung perfusion is a novel technique designed to localize chemotherapy to the lung tissue suffering metastasis. Effectively, increased doses of chemo agents can be used while reducing systemic exposure to the individual thus decreasing associated side effects (1). As there are currently no techniques available to determine drug tissue concentration during IVLP without taking biopsies, SPME emerged as a feasible strategy for in vivo quantification of doxorubicin (2).
