摘要

Orifice energy dissipator is one of the energy dissipation methods in hydraulic engineering. The mechanism of orifice energy dissipater is not fully understood yet. Many factors may influence the efficient of the orifice energy dissipation. In present research both dimension analysis and numerical analysis are conducted to investigate the influence of the factors. First, a series of factors are combined to investigate the influences. Then, the main factors are identified: Reynolds number, the diameter ratio and the distance between orifices. Numerical simulations are conducted with a k-ε two-equation turbulence model, the results of the simulations agree well with the results from experiments and dimensional analysis in references.
