Also there are other factors that may affect promotion of talent, such as conflicting rules and regulations. 1. Forward planning of talents. 2. Need for cross cultural integration, local content and diversity. Yes, we have talked about inspirational leadership, and how talents can to be identified, trained, retrained and promoted. It suffices to state, that for an organization or an industry to perform optimally, you need the presence of all the above highlighted attributes. This being the case I will like to urge this gathering to go back to basics, by looking at where we succeeded as industry in past, and seek to replicate that into our current industry situation, rather than trying to re-invent the wheel. With this I leave you all to ponder and act on what we need to do about the talent drain in the industry globally.
