摘要

First combined qualitative and quantitative assessment of P. falciparum HD and HHSS parasite lines. Demonstrates LC/MSE label-free quantitative approach was robust and reproducible. RBC invasion associated merozoite proteins were identified in independent merozoite samples with increased protein concentrations. Other merozoite proteins with known and unknown functions were identified with an increased or decreased protein concentration. Selected merozoite proteins will be further evaluated for target validation, more specifically, direct association with a long-lived merozoite phenotype.
