A 63 year old female patient with severe osteoporosis and end-stage liver disease secondary to primary biliary cirrhosis overlap autoimmune hepatitis, underwent a successful orthotopic liver transplant in April 2004. During postoperative time, the patient showed mild symptoms of neurotoxicity, given probably by immunosuppressant therapy with cyclosporine A or intracranial bleeding during the liver transplantation procedure. As a consequence, permanent dysarthria and oral-facial dyskinesia affected the stability and settlement of her total mandibular prosthesis, worsen nutrition and phonetic function. Four years post-liver transplantation procedure, the patient was effectively treated with four endosseous dental implants supported a hybrid screwed prostheses. Two years after the surgery, and following oral rehabilitation, the patient shows a satisfactory clinical evolution, meting her esthetic and functional expectations.
