Regeneration of periodontal defects using the synthetic membranes has been a common therapy in periodontology and implantology [1]. The use of thin membranes in the periodontal pocket helps the population of wanted cells allowing the ingrowth of bony tissues while blocking the penetration of unwanted fibrous tissues [2]. Although many types of polymeric materials have been used as the membrane, the performance needs to be improved in terms of cell compatibility, degradability and bone bioactivity.
