摘要

Tetramer formation of tumor suppressor protein p53 is essential for its activity. Our comprehensive and quantitative analyses of the oligomeric stability of p53 tumor-derived mutants revealed that the threshold of stability in the p53 tetrameric structure for loss of tumor suppressor activity could be very low.
