The Organizing Committee of the 9th International Gastric Cancer Congress (IGCC 2011) proudly presents the Proceedings of the IGCC 2011 which will be held in Seoul, Korea from April 20th to 23rd, 2011.On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to extend our sincere thanks and warm welcome to all participants. The ultimate objective of the IGCC is to advance our field of gastric cancer by maintaining a continuous and ongoing network among academics, industries, and all affiliated people related to gastric cancer and technology, so that they can take full advantage of many opportunities for mutual understanding with colleagues from all over the world. Since the 1st congress in 1995, the IGCC has been advancing in each consecutive congress and evolving into what it currently has become today.
