Many of you may recall my guest editorial in Bill Tynan's Apogee View a few months back, where I discussed some of the issues facing us as we move into the next century. Since that time, there's been a lot more discussion about the future of Hamsats in general and AMSAT fa particular. I'd like to think that our editorial got some of you seriously thinking about the future of your organization. For example, a subject thread developed on AMSATs Internet Bulletin Board in March, 1995 centered directly on the issues of future satellites beyond Phase 3-D, as well as the direction AMSAT should take to capitalize on the technology and launch opportunities of the future.
