摘要

One of the problems of the Large Eddy Simulation (LES) is the high computational cost. Although it is needed to conduct accurate simulations for optimizing design process for industrial products such as hydro turbines, it is not used widely in the industry due to its high computational cost. For the purpose of solving this problem, this paper represents a modification of an Analytical Wall Function, which has been applied to Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) simulations and been proved that it can predict turbulent flow well, to apply it to LES. In this study, the modification was conducted in channel flow, which is seen in many industrial products, for instance between blades of a stator of a hydro generator system.
