摘要

The paper presents a method of manufacturing a car muffler (tailpipe) of various purpose and shape from deep drawing steel. The shape and size is tailored to the customer's requirements for visual and mechanical parameters, which significantly limits the production capacity due to the need to create many tools that are time-consuming and expensive to manufacture. Therefore, the authors created their own forming device for wrapping the shape of the tailpipe depending on the geometric requirements, that allows for both a unit and a serial production depending on the requirements.
