This study of permittivity measurement used a capacitive measurement method for the judgment of engine oil degradation sensor device. The sensors consist of strong heat-resistant Teflon (Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene) electrode structure. Symmetry of both the electrode and the insulator test tube combined and put internal liquid medium in a test tube, the capacitance value can be measured. Temperature sensors were measured continuously between 78 °C and 80 °C. Experimental result, it could be used determine the degradation of the oil additives of oil exhausted since the capacitance value increased 16 pF.
