This paper reports the FDTD simulation of the large scale planar waveguide slot array antenna with the dielectric lenses. It is expected that the efficiency of the antenna is improved by the proposed lens. The validity of the calculated results is confirmed by comparison with the measured results. From the calculation results, it is found that the impedance matching efficiency is improved by loading the dielectric lenses.
