This study is presently being conducted to develop a Conceptual Design for a Safety Driven Process for a Proposed NASA Lunar Modular Habitat with Autonomous Operation and Deep Space Radiation Reliability. This study is fundamental to a design process driven by safety. I t will allow a detailed IPPD Method for the proposed Lunar Modular Habitat in the Deep Space environment that includes Radiation and the required Reliability including the characteristics needed for the Autonomous Operation of the Habitat. .The Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD) method is known for its use in multidisciplinary development and its steps are utilized for the conceptual design of the autonomous habitat. This study will allow a fast development process based on the IPPD Design method to better complete the process of design of the Lunar Module proposed for 2028 in the NASA Moon to Mars roadmap under the National Space Council strategy plan.
