摘要

In this study, a blended learning model for in service teacher training in nano science and technologyeducation has been proposed. This model has been designed according to the comparative studies ofnano science and technology education for in-service teacher training and feasibility studies fornanotechnology education in Iran. The dominant approach in this model is blended learning. Thismodel involves two stages. In the first stage, teachers have trained in their local provinces andeducational process will be focused on theoretical knowledge of nano science and technology, thenthe learning will be concentrated on mostly online+ limited face to face learning (emphasizing ononline learning). Through the second step, the experimental knowledge of teachers must be extended.To reach this goal, adequate soft and hard resources are needed. Then it was suggested, the coursecould be held in the provinces with sufficient equipments (central provinces). In this manner, learningwill be carried out through mostly face to face+ online learning approach.
